The New Hampshire Knee Center Team
The staff at The New Hampshire Knee Center believes that physical and mental rehabilitation are integrals part of successful recovery, whether it is from a relatively minor injury or from a major reconstruction. Knowing where you are going and what you should be doing during this recovery is vital to your success. As a result, patients should feel confident to contact the NHKC office at any time with questions and concerns. The NHKC modifies exercise programs for each patient, so that optimum recovery is achieved as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Daniel Fulham O'Neill, M.D., Ed.D., F.A.A.O.S.
Owner/Director - New Hampshire Knee Center: Founded 1989.
Daniel Fulham O’Neill completed his undergraduate education with a B.A. in chemistry from Bard College. He graduated with honors from medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. After completing his Orthopaedic Residency, Dr. O’Neill accepted a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic of Eugene, Oregon. Subsequently he established his granite roots in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. In 2005 he completed a doctorate in Sport Psychology at Boston University.
Dr. O’Neill has had many articles published in both scholarly journals and mass publications. Present research interests include physical and psychological aspects of injury prevention and treatment. He recently submitted the first draft of his book, Knee Surgery: The Essential Guide to Total Knee Recovery. The book is being published by St. Martin’s Press and is due out later this year.
Dr. O’Neill is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, a member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and a Doctor of Sport Psychology.

Mia Simone, ATC - Athletic Trainer
Mia Simone is The NHKC’s Certified Athletic Trainer. Ms. Simone is a recent graduate from the CAAHEP Accredited Athletic Training Educational Program at the University of New Hampshire.
While she attended UNH, Ms. Simone worked as a student athletic trainer for Men’s Soccer, Women’s Field Hockey, and the UNH Wildcats Football team. She puts her education to use each and every day by specializing in the rehabilitation and performance enhancement of NHKC patients. Originally from North Conway, Ms. Simone grew up skiing competitively for the Wildcat Mountain race team and for the Kennett High School race team. She still enjoys ski racing for fun, playing soccer, and traveling the world to exotic places such as Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, New Zealand and Australia.
Gretchen Wilkie - Office Manager
Gretchen Wilkie has worked at the New Hampshire Knee Center for over five years. She graduated from Plymouth Regional High School and continued her studies at Fisher College in Boston, MA. When not snowboarding, she can be seen often in the company of her St. Bernard Foolish. Gretchen is happy to help you with any logistic or billing issues.
