The New Hampshire Knee Center (NHKC) was originally founded in 1989 as the Plymouth Sports and Orthopaedic Clinic. Fresh from finishing his fellowship in Sports Medicine, Dr. Daniel Fulham O’Neill became the first orthopaedic surgeon in the area, bringing expertise in fracture care, joint replacement surgery and, of course, sports medicine. In the past decade, Dr. O’Neill has turned his surgical and rehabilitative focus to knee issues, including meniscal repairs, ligament reconstructions, surface cartilage transplantation and treatment of early arthritis. As a result, The NHKC has become a leader in the care of athletic knees, revolutionizing the preparation and rehabilitation for knee injuries and surgery.
The New Hampshire Knee Center uses the latest technologies to match the needs of each individual knee and life. No decision is made without taking into account immediate and long term goals as well as the participation and understanding of the patient and his/her support group. Recovery from knee problems is a team effort, matching the NHKC team with the patient’s team.
Many of the New Hampshire Knee Center patients are from areas other than central New Hampshire. Because of Dr. O’Neill’s detailed rehabilitation programs (and a soon to be published trade publication available in bookstores nationwide) it has never been an issue to give out of town patients the care they deserve. Distance should not be a factor in getting the best knee possible.

proud to announce as of September 17, 2007, he will be joining forces with Drs.
Andrew Chen, MD and Dougald MacArthur DO to form The Alpine Clinic. The Alpine
Clinic will have offices in Holderness, Littleton, No. Conway, and Woodsville,
